Local Urban Farms

New farms are sprouting all over the city! To keep track of all this growing Cultivate Kansas City has teamed up with Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG) and Lincoln University’s Innovative Small Farmers Outreach Program (ISFOP) to collect data for a Get Growing Kansas City map.

We want to track all the food production in Kansas City – from the largest urban farms in the metro area to pepper plants on your back patio, and everything in between – in order to document the tremendous increase of urban food production in our city. If you grow your own food, run a garden at your child’s school, or work with your neighborhood to grow fresh produce in a community garden, please take a few minutes to fill out our Get Growing KC survey and get your growing on the map.
