Earth Day Day of Service + Happy Hour

Help us celebrate and nurture this amazing blue marble we call home. Join us for an Earth Day volunteer event followed by a happy hour to celebrate Mother Earth- and your hard work!

Join us, along with our friends at the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council, as we offer some much needed springtime help to Midtown KC urban farms. We’re excited this Earth Day to send groups of volunteers to several farms including:

1:00 pm: Meet up at Ivanhoe Neighborhood Center for a short rally, to get instructions, and to organize carpooling.
2:00-4:00 pm: Volunteer at nearby farms.
4:00-6:00 pm: Return to the Ivanhoe Community Orchard, located next door to the Community Center at 1703 E 37th St, KCMO for a happy hour with vendors from The Food Circle*, snacks, cake, Torn Label Brewing beer, and a few fun giveaways!

Vendors include:

*We’re excited to welcome a few of the KC Food Circle members as vendors to the event this year! The KC Food Circle is a group of local  farmers, businesses and organizations all operating within 120 miles of KC. Farmer members pledge to use sustainable and humane growing practices and businesses are sourcing from farmers to make delicious local products. The group is now a program of a new nonprofit with some familiar faces, The Food Circle!

Follow The Food Circle on Instagram and Facebook @the.food.circle to find these amazing local farmers and businesses at other events this spring and stay tuned for the launch of their new member directory and eat local map coming soon on thefoodcircle.org

Please register below for either- OR BOTH- parts of the event. We need to know how many folks to plan for.

This event is part of the 2025 Earth Festival!
