Laura Lengnick is an award-winning soil scientist with 25 years of experience working as a researcher, policy maker, educator, and farmer. She is the founder and principal at Cultivating Resilience, LLC, and is the Director of Agriculture at Glynwood Center for Regional Food & Farming.
Laura is the author of Resilient Agriculture: Cultivating Food Systems for a Changing Climate. Her updated and expanded second edition is currently available for pre-order.
Laura will be in Kansas City helping us wrap up a Missouri Specialty Crop Block Grant project on climate resilience with local farmers. We’re delighted to also host a public meet and greet with her at our Food Forest. Come drink a Stockyards Brewing beer, have a bite, and hear about trends Laura is seeing in climate resilience work and agriculture from around the country.
