Healthy Soil Field Day

Dig in and get dirty by helping us tackle our compost pile and get the farm ready for spring! Join us for a Healthy Soil Field Day volunteer and educational event, followed by a happy hour to rest, refresh, and ground ourselves. Cheers to biodiversity! 

We’ll spend the afternoon activating our compost pile and getting it into shape with the help of our friends from Missouri Organic Recycling, along with some other much needed spring cleanup and prep opportunities at Juniper Gardens Training Farm!

This event will also feature educational demonstrations from the NRCS Rain Simulation Truck, opportunities to learn soil testing analyses, and even some creepy crawly compost helpers! 

• 2-4pm: Volunteer & Educational Activities
  • Compost pile work with MOR
  • Other volunteer opportunities on the farm

• 4-6pm: Educational Activities Continue & Happy Hour with light snacks and local beer!

¡Celebremos un día en la granja!  

 Acompáñanos en este evento educativo y de voluntariado en el granja, seguido de una happy hour para refrescarnos y música en vivo. ¡Salud por la agricultura!  

Pasaremos la tarde aprendiendo a preparar un suelo fértil como el compost con nuestros amigos de Missouri Organic Recycling (MOR), junto con la preparación para la primavera en La Granja de Juniper Gardens Training. 

¡El evento también contará con demostraciones educativas del Camión de Simulación de Lluvia del NRCS (Servicio de Conservación de Recursos Naturales), análisis de pruebas de suelo, y recorrido por nuestra granja!
