KC’s Local Food and Farm Scene

Katherine Kelly, Executive Director of Cultivate KC, and Alicia Ellingsworth, Sales and Production Director at Kansas City Food Hub and Executive Director of  KC Farm School at Gibbs Road, will describe how the popularity of local, sustainably-grown food has led to greater infrastructure for production (farmer training) and distribution, including farmers’ markets, CSA subscriptions, restaurants, and community institutions.
