Our events bring in hundreds of guests each year, representing a widely diverse background of people and families with a shared passion and interest in local farms and food and the future of our food system. Homegrown Happy Hours

Cultivate KC’s happy hours are held each month and showcase each of our farm sites. Homegrown Happy Hours feature a drink sponsor as well as a light snack from a local food truck or maker.

Homegrown Happy Hour Sponsorships are $1,000 each.

Dig In! Farm-to-Table Dinner

Dig In! is Cultivate KC’s annual benefit dinner and is one of the most talked-about dinner events in the area, famous for its five-course meal created by local prominent chefs, using local ingredients. This event brings together hundreds of like-minded supporters of local food, urban agriculture and healthy food access. It is always an elegant evening under the lights of the historic City Market!

Group volunteer events

Cultivate KC loves volunteers! We have many events where volunteers are essential both on and off the farm. We have opportunities throughout the year for individuals and are happy to talk with you about setting up a one-time volunteer event for large groups, after filling out our volunteer form.
