About the Passport

Developed in partnership by Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council and Cultivate KC, the Kansas City Farmers Market Passport is a free, interactive guide that connects shoppers to fresh and healthy foods through an abundant network of urban agriculture. While exploring the many farmers markets and farm stands featured in the Passport, participants can find lots of helpful resources and earn cash-value prizes with local small businesses. The Kansas City Farmers Market Passport offers fun for the whole family, while engaging in community and supporting the local food system.

Earning prizes is easy:

  1. Visit the farmers markets and farm stands below.
  2. Get your passport stamped by the market managers.
  3. For every four stamps you collect, you unlock a new prize from any of our prize partners.
  4. Collect up to four prizes from our prize partners.

Prizes for visiting the markets include discounts at local restaurants, plant nurseries, and more. The wide world of Kansas City’s local food system awaits you – Enjoy!

 

Where to Get the Passport

The Passport is available for FREE at each of our participating farmers markets and farm stands. All you have to do is show up and ask for a Passport to get started. Supplies are limited, so act fast!
