Midtown Hoedown is a family friendly, farm-centered folk dance event on May 2, 2026 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

This fundraiser brings together farmers and families, activists and food enthusiasts for a day packed full of fun on the farm, including a gender-inclusive folk dance with live old time string band music. The dances are all taught on the spot – no experience is necessary.

Attendees also enjoy yard games, small farm animals, educational demonstrations, a pop-up farm stand, and local food and beverages. It’s a spirited celebration of urban farming and the diversity of the food in the soil and the folks who grow and eat it!
