Night/Shift at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art

We were honored to be asked to participate in Night/Shift at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art on May 15th. Taking place every few months, Night/Shift is a free form evening full of local artists, live performances, and creative encounters. We were excited to explore the night’s theme, Second Nature, through both visual and oral storytelling.

We had a great time gathering around a beautiful table filled with local produce from New Roots and artifacts of Cultivate KC’s 20 year mission to support local growers. It was exciting to exchange stories with visitors about the ways they engage in our local food system.
