This summer, Cultivate KC and Whole Foods Market are partnering to provide a nutrition incentive program for our Double Up Food Bucks clients at local farmers markets.

From June to August, Whole Foods is providing reusable tote bags full of dry ingredients and recipe cards. Then, folks purchase the needed fresh veggies from our amazing farmers markets and they’re ready to create a meal!

In June, Double Up users received a recipe for roasted cauliflower with full-size packages of ground spices, sea salt and olive oil (see photo above).

These bags will be available to Double Up users while supplies last at the following markets in July, August and September:

Help us stuff bags!

Cultivate KC is responsible for sorting the Whole Foods goods and stuffing them in bags before being delivered to their respective markets. We need volunteers for two to three hours one Tuesday a month in July, August and September to help.
