Dig In! 2019 Auction

Guests of Dig In! are invited to bid on the following items during a silent auction and a live auction at the event. The silent auction will take place during the cocktail hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Those items are listed below the live auction items, which will be up for bid as part of the evening’s main program.

Two Tickets to Explore Peru’s Food System with Katherine Kelly on 2020 CultureXplorers Trip

Experience some of Peru’s remarkable food system alongside Cultivate KC’s Executive Director and co-founder Katherine Kelly. You’ll meet chefs, researchers and farmers as well as interact with supporters and leaders of Por Eso, an NGO that addresses health issues by implementing organic gardens in homes and schools in the Peruvian Andes.

Broadmoor Bistro is one of the top culinary and commercial baking programs in the country. Chef Bob Brassard and his culinary students will prepare a dinner for eight guests in your home with freshly picked produce raised by the students at the Broadmoor Urban Farm.

Chef Brandon Winn, who has been the executive chef at Webster House since 2017, will come to your home and prepare a private dinner for you a group of your friends (up to 8 total).

Nomad Kimchi will come to your house and teach a kimchi-making class for up to five people. They bring enough delicious cabbage and supplies needed to make enough for everyone to take home at least a half-gallon!

Italian Cooking Class & Lunch for 10 at Casa Somerset

This experience includes a hands-on Italian Cooking class for 10 people hosted by Chef Mike Hursey and his wife Christine. The class will be followed by a beautiful farm-to-table meal with local wine on the veranda after all of your hard work!

Herbal Medicine Class for 10 at Whispering Elm Farm

Discover what herbs support various health issues and how to make and incorporate herbal preparations in your home (whether you grow your own or source them elsewhere). This class also includes an optional tour of the Whispering Elms Farm gardens.
